Postdocs from all campuses at the University of Miami are invited to celebrate Postdoc Appreciation Week from September 21-25, 2026. This week-long celebration will feature professional development sessions, raffles, and more!*

*Events are for University of Miami postdocs only.

In addition to the exclusive events the Postdoctoral Programs Office and the Postdoc Association will be hosting, UM postdocs will have access to professional and career development events the National Postdoc Association (NPA) and its affiliates will be hosting. UM postdocs must activate their free NPA membership (instructions here) to participate in some of these events.

    Please join us for the 2026 National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) National Kickoff brought to you by the National Postdoc Association (NPA). Board members of the NPA dive into issues facing the postdoctoral community today, while keeping one eye toward the past and another toward the future. Leaders at institutions that house postdocs and postdoctoral scholars themselves will honor and celebrate the hard work being conducted today by researchers, explore the adversity faced by many, and imagine positive changes the future can bring through intentional collective efforts.
